Aki's Blog

In October 2007, Aki’s Blog celebrates one year on the Internet! The first blog entry is from October 29th, 2006, as you can see in the blog archives on the right. To celebrate this, I change the name of the blog from the boring Aki’s Blog to The Hopes Were High, a name I also have on YouTube nowadays. It’s from the Nightwish song “Higher Than Hope”.

Today, one of my absolute favorite film series, Star Wars have been prominent to the world for thirty whole years. On May 25, 1977, Star Wars IV: A New Hope, the first film out of six, was released to cinemas. In my opinion, it is obvious that the first three films – the original trilogy: IV: A New Hope, V: The Empire Strikes Back and VI: Return of the Jedi – was the best ones. The worst films was I: The Phantom Menace and II: Attack of the Clones.

Happy anniversary, Star Wars! You’ve made a lot of difference to the world.
