Playing SuperTux, I have so far found two bugs. I don’t know if they’re widely known, but anyway:

1. When you die (through touching an enemy / trap), the system first records your amount of lives left, and then checks if you have <0, and if you do it shows the game over-thingie and so forth. Bug: If you press escape while in the air after being killed (before the game over sign comes up) and choose Abort Level, you lose a life but the game over thingie never shows up and you never lose all your points. In other words, dying in this manner with your last life allows you to continue playing with -1 life. Next time, you get -2, etcetera.

2. I don’t quite know why this is, but still: If you choose to destroy an old save (pressing the delete button while in the Start Game mode), and then start a new game in one of the empty slots, you still have your old amount of lives and points from the last save. I don’t know why this is, but it doesn’t work if you quit the game in between deleting the save and beginning the new.

Through a friend’s blog, I found this wonderful flash game, which I’m totally addicted to.

Flash Element TD is a flash game inspired by the Warcraft III TD (Tower Defense). The aim of the game is to kill all monsters (bosses, goblins, birds etcetera) walking through a maze by shooting at them with war towers that you build on the grass around the maze. These towers costs gold, which is gained for every creature killed. Every eight level, one wood is received, which can be used for research. For another cost, the towers already built can be advanced at well. Through the game, as your towers and your skill advance, so do the enemy, becoming stronger and faster. My highscore is right now 786 points at level 23. Try beat that!

I was calling my mum, standing on an open area in a farthen city, I think it was UmeÃ¥ (a city in Sweden). I had been travelling there by train, and I told my mum that I thought it was 411 Swedish miles (4110 kilometers) to UmeÃ¥ from Linköping (where I live). I also told her that I earlier that day travelled to Stockholm, which somehow was 209 Swedish miles. I think I meant kilometers; there’s about 200 kilometers between Linköping and Stockholm. Mum told me that Lord Ingo and Phoebe (some IRC pals to me and Tim) was at our place, they and Tim was about to install a Wii console, that just arrived. I screamed in the cell phone that I was going home to play immediatly, but then I woke up. And the first thing I thought, before I truly woke up, was “Shit, it’s a schoolday! I don’t have time to travel all the way home today”.

As I wrote earlier, I’m sick. I have a headache, throathache and feel like fainting.

I woke up at 7.00 AM, ate a minor breakfast, and went to bed watching the film Arabian Nights and playing the cell phone game Quadrapop (a version of Tetris). My current highscore is 22095 points. I fell asleep and woke up again at around 9.30. I gave my lizard Oliver and my cat Sushi some food, and settled down in front of my computer. I checked some blogs, and wrote half a chapter on Angel of Death.

That’s basically my day. I’m boring, am I?

I am going start writing down all my chess protocols from different tournaments. I am using my brother’s WordPress plugin Chessnotator. This is the first round in the Linkoping Championship of 2007, which was started in the 16th of January. I resigned this game against Arno Platau, who was much more experienced than I was.

I believe I am playing to much of the wonderful game of chess. For example, tonight I dreamt I was out in the woods a dark night. On the top of a steep hill, around some drunks there was a bookcase with lots of chess trophies and chess awards – my bookcase. This was what I have been looking for, and when I was trying to rescue the bookcase from the drunks, I heard Tim screaming for me. Scared to death (I can’t get why), I let go off the bookcase, and ran down the hill again.

After running for a while, I suddenly appered to be in Linkoping City, and met some chess buddies at a café. I followed them home and used their shower.

This was the moment when Linnea woke me up.

I’ve recently realised that I am adicted to Supertux. Supertux is an open source Linux version of the classical game Super Mario, with a penguin instead of Mario.

The game can be downloaded for free and it works fine at not only Linux, but also Windows.

For a couple of hours Tim, Linus, Jessica and Tina was playing Super Smash Bros. Melee, and I and Alice was watching anime at the Internet. At 11.00 pm Alice and Jessica had to go home and now the only ones left are me, Tim, Tina, Toxaz, Linus and Linnea. Tomorrow Evelina arrives sleeping here the last night.

Now Tina and Linus are playing No One Lives Forever, Tim and Linnea are… uhm… in the bedroom, and I think I’ll play Age of Empires II: Age of Kings for a while.

So long!

We woke up at around 8.30 am after sleeping just three or four hours. I found out I was having some blonde hairs on my back and in my mouth, and Matilda was having a black one in her mouth. Strange. Matilda went home today. At 13.30 I, Toxaz, Tina and Linus went to the station to pick up Jessica and Alice, who are staying here today. Now, Linus , Tim, Jessica and Linnea is playing Super Smash Bros. Melee at the Game Cube.
